The TEU needs to make some big changes in order to address the crises we face. As President-Tiriti, I will fight to transform us into an organising union, that’s more democratic and more transparent. I will ensure that we properly prioritise the development of local delegates, empowering workers.
For a better tertiary education system
Our sector is in crisis. After decades of funding shortfalls, we’re facing hundreds of job losses and worsening working conditions. As President-Tiriti, I will fight for: a fully funded tertiary sector that protects jobs, provides secure employment, and pays a living wage. To win, we will need to change the way we organise.
About Ti Lamusse
Ti Lamusse is a lecturer at Victoria University. Ti has more than a decade’s experience in community organising. He has been a TEU member since 2015. Ti has run campaigns involving hundreds of thousands of people. He knows how to get people organised and win massive campaigns.
